The Domestic Violence No-Girlfriend Order
A Canadian court has ordered a man who repeatedly assaulted a former girlfriend that he "cannot form a romantic relationship of an intimate nature with a female person" for the next three years."
I acknowledge your 'wow', but I'm not sure how else you could deal with the domestic-violence, repeat-offender types, where it's not safe for them to get attached to anyone until they get their 'issues' worked out. Toss 'em in jail, but that also means they can't meet a new girlfriend.
